YES! The answer is yes! My family and I experienced sailing on a Disney Cruise for the first time on the Disney Magic. It is a one size fits all experience. I would say for most families, a Disney Cruise is 100% worth the cost.

A Disney Cruise is for the whole family. There is something for everyone to enjoy, from adults to teenagers, preteens, young children, and toddlers. You will never find yourself or your kids bored or without something to do. I have a 2year old and a 6year old and let me tell you, even my husband, who is hard to impress, enjoyed it and was already talking about booking our next cruise while we were still on the ship.

When you factor in everything included, plus the high level of service, it is absolutely worth the price you pay. Let’s talk about what is included when sailing on a Disney Cruise.

Room Service:

Did you know room service is available 24/7 and is included in your package? You can enjoy all the Mickey Bars from the comfort of your stateroom.

Entertainment:

From movie theaters to broadway musicals and fireworks shows at sea, there is soo much to do and see, not everything can be done in one day. Guess what? All of this is also included in your cruise package and at no additional cost.

Character Meet and Greets:

Ever wait in line for hours to meet your favorite Disney Character? While on board, the wait time is less than extreme and more personal. Sometimes even on your way to the pool, will you see a Disney character and have that close-up interaction.

Disney’s Private Island:

A visit to Castaway Cay (on most Bahamian and Caribbean cruises) is also included in your price tag. Complimentary access to lounge chairs, hammocks, beachside BBQ, and unlimited ice cream is all available to you.

Dining options:

Enjoy upscale restaurants, casual dining, and poolside snacks. When encountering a Disney vacation you think of having to set a budget for food. Well not on a Disney Cruise! That is all included. And you’re not just getting your typical Hot Dogs and Hamburgers, you are getting rotational dining that includes all-you-can-eat, 4-course meals plus a show.

Youth Clubs:

Oceaneer Club (ages 3-12), Edge (tweens), Vibe (teens), and Edge (teens, tweens) are all available to you at no additional cost. This is a great opportunity for parents to drop off their children and enjoy the adults-only area for a moment.

Nightclubs and Lounges:

A variety of bars and lounges for adults to experience and enjoy a drink or two.

Pools and Recreation:

There is a pool for everyone. Whether you are enjoying the sun without kids in the adults-only area, splashing away with young babies, or enjoying the waterslides, there is something for everyone. If you are wanting to take a break and enjoy some hoop time, is also accessible to you.

From the moment you step on board to your last wave goodbye, your vacation includes almost everything! With all that being said, the only thing left to do is book your Disney Cruise and experience the magic yourself! Trust me, it is worth it.
