If you have been a Disney Parks fan or followed Disney content creators for a while, you might have heard of an event called Dapper Day!
Dapper Day celebrates the fashion and styles from yesterday and today with a Disney flair. It’s your opportunity to step into the Disney Parks in style with a themed outfit. Popular styles include 1920s flapper fashion, 1950s poodle skirt classics, and 1950s-60s Rockabilly style. Creators take these styles and make them their own, often creating a Disneybound outfit with the style in mind.
Disneyland Resort
At Disneyland Park, you will see guests with all different fashions and interpretations on their style. Be sure to bring your camera and get ready for photos! It is not uncommon to be asked for a photo or someone to ask to take a photo with you. It is 100% okay to say no as well. Not only does this take place at Disneyland Park, but the celebration continues with the Dapper Day Expo at the Disneyland Hotel. This expo takes place in the convention center part of the hotel and includes vintage fashions, accessories, memorabilia, Disney inspired art, classic cars, a bar, and swing dancing! I had the opportunity to experience this in November 2022 and it was definitely a dream come true!
Walt Disney World Resort & Disneyland Paris
The Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Paris also host their own Dapper Day outings in the parks. It is very similar with fashion and photos, but there is not an expo for these events.
If you are a fan of Disneybounding, vintage fashion, and Disney Parks, I highly recommend booking a trip to experience one of the Dapper Day events!
