Do you have a space-obsessed kid? Do they live with their head in the clouds, or should I say in the stratosphere? Did you know there are several ways to “go to space” during your Walt Disney World Vacation?

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind– Blast off with your favorite members of the Avengers in this revolutionary coaster. Visit the Wonders of Xandar pavilion before being launched backward into the epic adventure through the galaxy.

Mission: SPACE– With 2 options for missions, this ride will certainly launch you into orbit. Take the Green Mission for a more family-friendly adventure or rocket off to Mars with Mission Orange. Be warned Mission Orange is not for the faint of heart, you will feel every second of G Forces promised.

Space 220 Restaurant– Ascend to the stars and eat aboard a space station with 360-degree views! When you arrive at Space 220 you will board an elevator that will whisk you away to the outer reaches of the solar system. Enjoy an aerial view of Epcot, then Florida, then the entire planet before you dine. Keep your eyes on the sky as you never know what or who may be floating around the galaxy. Pro tip- While Space 220 requires reservations, the attached lounge is available on a first come first serve basis.

Space Mountain– This classic attraction has been launching people through the solar system since 1975 at Magic Kingdom. Load into a rocket ship to visit Starport: Seven Five, see the planets, and swirl through a wormhole, then come screaming back to Earth. This is a true must-do for all thrill seekers.

Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin– Suitable for all ages this dark ride through the Gamma Quadrant allows Space Rangers of all ages to board a star cruiser and help Buzz Lightyear defeat his arch-nemesis Zurg. Can you become the next Galactic Hero?

The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover– A space adjacent ride, this tram takes you through all the Tomorrowland attractions. So if your space lover is a bit too tiny to board a rocket, they can ride this attraction through Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, and Star Trader’s to get some of their fix.

Bonus suggestion, on your rest day, take your kids to Kennedy Space Center. Located about an hour outside of Walt Disney World this museum has something for space lovers of all ages. If you time your trip correctly you may even be able to see a real shuttle launch!
