So why should you visit the Most Magical Place on Earth if you are a childless couple? Well, here are a few reasons we love going as adults!
First, it is a place where we can be completely free. At Walt Disney World, there is magic all around. As an adult, it is easy to sucked into the hustle and bustle of work and life, but here you can let go and enjoy all of the happiness and magic. On our last trip, we splurged for a Royal Guest Room at Port Orleans Riverside. This room was beautiful and was located just steps away from the quiet pool at the resort. Staying in this room was a dream come true from my childhood. I think I simply stood and stared at the room for multiple minutes. Port Orleans Riverside was the perfect choice for our vacation, there are so many activities available for guests to enjoy. One of my favorite parts of this trip was the couple of nights we spent at the River Roost Lounge. It is a full-service bar that hosts the incredible Yehaa Bob Jackson. We had so much fun watching his walking piano playing and singing. There are so many great bars and
lounges on Disney Property that are perfect for couples to relax in!
Another reason we love to visit alone is you have the freedom and flexibility to do whatever pleases you that day. From taking a swim in your resort pool to hopping from park to park, to getting spontaneous dining reservations, there is a limitless amount of experiences for you and your partner to experience! Another experience we love doing is visiting all of the bars/lounges on the monorail loop! This is such a great experience, you get to feel the atmosphere of some of the best Disney Deluxe Resorts and enjoy lovely snacks and drinks!
Lastly, I think we all need to get the idea that Disney Destinations are purely for children! Walt Disney wanted to create his parks so that people and families of all ages had somewhere fun and safe to go. It is okay to take some time for yourselves and have fun in a place so full of magic!
